Hi there! My name is Seim Kuruc and I’m a photographer currently residing in San Diego California. I am passionate about sharing perspectives through compelling images in photography and filmmaking. I am starting this blog in May of 2021 primarily as a creative outlet for my personal photography and commentary. Occasionally you can find me over on Twitch streaming my editing process and chatting as part of Team Photography. I maintain a Discord server for the blog and my personal stream community here.
I have long been fascinated by the various forms “social media” has taken over the years. With each new platform comes new innovation and ever-increasing efficiency of human communication. As technology advances exponentially with developments such as Elon Musk’s Neuralink project, what will become of digital content creators? Sharing perspective to the masses increases empathy and awareness in ways our species may have never experienced before. How will we lift ourselves upon the technological growth curve? I’m not really sure what this blog will become- but obviously it will focus heavily on photography and storytelling for now. I maintained a YouTube channel for several years before the demonetization purge of 2017 and it was a lot of fun to develop scripts for videos. Perhaps I may edit some videos about photography and post them here in the future.
